Behind the guide

Curiosity, with
a little homework.

Panama Discover is an independent travel publication built around the decisions that make a trip work: where to base yourself, how places connect and what to leave out.

Responsible editor: Guillem Gallego Insa. Our guides are published by the Panama Discover editorial desk. Research assistance does not replace source checking or editorial responsibility.

Useful before exhaustive

A list of every beach is less helpful than understanding which coast fits your route. Our guides compare meaningful choices and make room for the time spent between destinations.

Sources you can follow

We start with transport operators, Panama’s tourism authority, public institutions and other primary sources. Each guide links the references behind its practical advice and shows its review date. We use independent travel publishers to understand competing advice; we do not copy their articles or present their journeys as our own.

What a review date means

It records our editorial source review, rather than a promise that every service will operate on your dates. Where timetables, fares or connections lack reliable current evidence, we leave them out or hold the guide as a draft. Check the named operator before booking.

No invented experience

These are researched guides. We do not invent hotel stays, first-person travel stories or local expertise. Destination photographs are real, licensed images with linked credits and reuse terms. Editorial responsibility sits with the Panama Discover editorial desk.

Build a route that fits

Start with our itineraries, choose your destinations, then check the connections. Fewer changes of base often leave more time for the place itself.
